PBEM game wanted

Hi,

I'm looking for 2-5 opponents for a PTW1.21 pbem game. Min. 4 turns per week. Max. number of AI players.

Here are the settings (can be negotiated):
- world size large or huge (yes, it will be a long game...)
- barbarians sedentary or roaming
- land mass continents
- water 70%
- climate normal
- temperature temperate
- age 4 billion years
- difficulty regent, monarch or emperor

Victory conditions domination, space race, diplomatic, conquest and cultural.
No accelerated production.

Players:

1. Crocodile - Carthaginians
2. Sir Eric - Celts
3. digger760 - French
4. Black Waltz - Chinese
5. ???
6. ???

I'll play on regent or monarch.
4 turns/week is not a problem with me, I can do more if needed.
Those game settings are fine be me.
I prefer so play as the celts or babylonians

i am interested, monarch is my preferred difficulty, i can play weekdays only, but between the hours of 7:30am-5:00pm (GMT) so i can get lots of turns during the week if required.

I think i would like to play the French. All your other settings are fine. I will PM you with my email.

here is a suggestion when you start the game.

I have noticed that if you set the game up with all the players first then all the AI's. Then the players tend to get lumped altogether and the AI's get lumbed altogether. This has'nt always been the case but it seems to have happened 3 out of 4 times for me.

I was thinking if spreading the AI between human player turns, thi s might make it more likely that we are well dispersed amonst AI and humans.

I normally go Carthaginians or the French. But as they're taken I guess I will have to go with the Chineese. Although I warn you that I have not played with them extensivly! I normally play huge maps on Regent but I'm willing to go with the majority. I can play weekdays and weekends - normally not on from 9-5 but I can try and check my email a few times a day in order to get a few more turns done - we'll need it if we're to finish this game this decade!

Not 1.21 yet. I'm just finishing up a Regent game on a huge map then I'm going to upgrade. Should be done during today.

Well I've passed the turn on. We've finally got this rolling.

Heh. I got a bit confused there and tried to load up my OWN slot which I had sent to Croc last turn rather then the turn I was sent from digger... All sorted now though. Wow. If we count Sunday as the begining of the week we've already nearly played our 'minimum' amount of turns!

What has happened, we've gone from playing 2-4 turns a day to about 2 a week. Common guys lets try to get 1 turn a day, or people will loose interest.
