btw - I got a note in the last turn that I had ...

1) succeeded in the blessed sea quest
2) failed the blessed sea quest
3) succeeded in the blessed seq quest

I selected the convert cities ... and Conf spread to about 20 other cities.

Hmm I succeeded in that as well. So maybe that's why you failed in it. But then why did you succeed anyway?

GPS, got quite lucky with combat last turn.

Good counterattack, but it left Vijaynagara exposed to my mounted. Having boats gives a lot of options.

I guess the game setup was such that the map could be broken. Double granaries are quite useful. Also Colossus was a game breaker with this setup.
