This game is starting to annoy me. First I had to use SD4Hide in order to even run the game (from the descriptions mentioned, I think it's my new hard drive that triggered it), and now I'm having problems with PBEM.
I have a few other family members with copies of the game, so we're trying to do a PBEM game. My brother sent me the saved game file for the first turn, but when I tried to open it, I got an error message.
"This save file is protected against mod changes."
Or something along those lines. Then I got dropped to the desktop.
I started up a new PBEM game just to test things, and when I sent it to my brother, he was able to open it without any trouble. He then e-mailed it back, and I opened it without any problems.
We're both running the 1.52 patch (I patched right after installing the game), and I'm not using any mods. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem?
