i would like to play for Vikings, the rest of settings are up to you
maybe we should wait for more people - i believe it's more fun to play with 4 or 5

I agree that it would be more interesting with more players. I will check back in regularly and see if anyone else is interested. We can decide on the size of map and other settings then.

Hello Gentlemen I am very keen for a PTW PBEM game, I have patch 1.27 and I am not sure if this is necessary with all players as it was released to counteract bugs from multiplayer internet site games, not PBEM's.

I will post my preferences soon, as I have an ellaborate idea that you two may find interesting and quite challenging. It will leave you biting your nails waiting for the next saved game...

I'm currently at work a lot when I post so I note info down then take home the info to create the games. That is off course if you wish to create this yourself I completely understand as I do not want to seem as if I am taking the thread over but I have been looking for a good thread to promote my idea that requires dedicated players who will constantly on a set out basis play turns to keep maximum efficiency in game turn progression. It basically means that we will try and work out when people are on the most and work around a timetable that suits all players in all time zones. It usually works out that it should be sent west around the world to not chase the sun and get to the players at the best time in the day...

This was the first initial post of my idea on another website forum...


I am after serious gamers who want to duke out a WHOLE game, not to the middle then someone drops out... Don't forget this is PTW NOT Conquests!

It will be Mass Regicide, I ask that people actually pick an actual country to represent as I am a perfectionist and the land of Bluice just doesn't have a ring to it. Example, mine will be Prime Minister Bluice, Australia, Australians, Australian (this stuff goes in ur details at the start).

The Mass Regicide will consist of 7 ''king'' units. As I will be the Ottomans my units will be Sultans. Therefore I request that everyone personally name every ''king'' unit they have to comprise a royal family that will inevitably end up being the most wanted people in your country (Because if all king units die then u die in regicide). This naming of ''king'' units will be done when you perform your first turn. Remember I'm not trying to make things difficult I'm just trying to make this game an enjoyable experience by having real naming countries and the royal families to go with each country. Try it it'll be fun!

We will use this thread as a ''United Nations'' to discuss topics that concern all countries such as turn progression and admin disputes. Otherwise if you wish to speak to a nation personally email them. Trust me I'm sure this United Nations will get use once everyone acquires nukes.

A word of advice don't leave all your eggs in one basket. (I mean one nuke and all your king units are dead.)

Finally if you wish to slug it out to the end!, then please provide your email, your country, and preferences such as Prime Minister Bluice, Australia, Australians, Australian.

Also I ask that everyone please post their names of their royal family units in this thread as I will rename it later as Planet Willow's United Nations and it will familiarize us with all the main units and figures in this game.

I will explain more when I have some free time, thanks for your patience


By the way I named this game "Royal Families go head to head..." and the map took the name "Planet Willow".

I am still interested in a game and am open to any arrangement. If there is more interest shown in this my first choise would be the Iroquois.
