Maybe we should make some standard treaty forms for making life more easy. Also 'deals' for protecting the AI before nationalism should be made possible.

For instance:

In 'deal' I mean something like a protection declaration: "I (persia) hearby declare that I will protect the Japanse if you (egypt) attack them for the next 20 turns"

If persia and egypt had a peace deal, the protection deals rules out the peace deal. Therefore no rep hit is suffered by breaking the peace treaty.

What do you think? The AI is to weak to take care for itself. And before nationalism there is nothing to do for them. All games follow the same path: human takes over ai and game ends up with two humans. With more ai's around the late game might be more fun to watch...

Well, we could turn it into a OCC 1 vs 1 ladder system on a huge map on diety.

The way I see it, the computer will disappear in most games when their are two excellent players going at it. Like all you warmongers :p

Er, everyone is free to do what they want are they not?

If you want to have an agreement like that you can do so as part of your peace treaty. If I am playing anyone and they make a treaty and then break it for any reason I will hold them accountable.

If you don't want me attacking another AI civ you must make it part of the treaty in the first place!

You don't have to play that way. Why not sneak attack the human while they are still surrounded by AIs! ;)

Alternatively, you can give the AIs "beyond deity" bonuses to make sure they survive.

DaveMcW,

A bit OT, but I'd really like to play you in a head to head PBEM!

PM me if you are interested. :)

Now thats a game I'd like to see! A builder's paradise - not.
