PBEM THE GREAT WAR - Div Level

No enough important actions for reporting it in your turn Redman? :(

Well, for the Empire matters:

-As Italia didnt opened Venice to our troops the siege continues: Nearly all italian force (a big one) damaged, but only an Italian A Infantery Division was totally destroyed under our assault.
-A great happiness today in Trieste Naval Base, our rising fleet sunk an Italian Armoured Cruiser in the Adriatic.
-In the south front our troops conducted cleaning operations over rumaian/russian marauders. A russian cavalry division destroyed NW of Bucharest and a rumanian infantery division destroyed north of Crajova.

Thats all for now, only a word for the Tzar Nicholas, if you send to dead that Army across southern poland plains and they fall under the bullets of our elite gunners, surely your farmers will burn your palace...think in your poor sons, and belive me, you are in danger!

(For the lazy ones :D)

-1 Italian A Inf Div killed in Venice.
-1 Italian Armored cruiser sunk in Adriatic.
-1 Russian cavalry killed NW of Bucharest.
-1 Rumanian Inf Div killed N of Crajova.

No losses for Austria.

I have sent the British turn to Sully(France). I hope is the right thing.

Nope!

You should send the file to me, the glorious British Emperor!!!

I'm so glorious that have already lost 1 city to the weakling Bulgarians... :(

Sure! but you will be the only with the handicap, undeveloped one. All the others have a full web of railroads. :)

No problem, I will have my road network upgraded shortly.

I was thinking more in terms of the Brits airlifting units to Egypt.

Shall we agree to a new house rule, NO AIRLIFTS?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I already did this! I have also spent money RUSHING airports in order to deal with the difficult situation in Egypt!

I took airlift as a functionality, not a bug!

(...) bug in this scenario which allows me to airlift my cavalry units.
If we are talking about banning CAVALRY airlifts then I agree!

.

Hmmm...and how can we justify the airlift of full divisions in 1914? It was not operational until Vietnam war or later. Or perhaps you have some Galaxy planes hidden in your hangars, hehe.

Btw, who has the turn?

Its for play-balance reasons.

Regard it as high-priority rapid transports by sea.
(Sometimes also combined with rail move)

Personally I think troop airlift should not be allowed if we are interested in sticking to the historical value of playing the scenario.

Well, then we lose a bit of the importance of the naval supremacy, but you are the scenario god, so i am sure you will know the balance thing better.

I agree. But if it disrupts the game balance too much maybe we should allow it.

But.....hasnt the brittish empire got enough transports to set up a convoy chain from england-------->gibraltar-------->alexandria ?

After all they should have the strongest navy in the world by 1914

And what do the Ottomans say ?

I can't. My PC is back on strike, I think I'll need to replace the motherboard after all... :(

No, I get the emails through a "shortcut" I use at work. Getting a PC with CivIII is the tricky thing for now...
