pbem 'Xi' Warlords

DogBoy1 is down to one city. DogBoy is down to one city but was able to build some archers. That city will last...for a few more turns at least.

Due to a lack of reading the game parameters and a heap of stupidity on my part...I'm dead.

Despite Shaka's strategy of building the Great Lighthouse, and only keeping coastal conquered cities, the economy starts to tank.

Brennus begins to see the substance behind previous gossip about barbarians, as the Roman town to his north disappears, and his lands are invaded from north and west. He is somewhat annoyed that the War Elephants, lovingly prepared for a visit to Tokugawa, are distracted by this unwarranted intrusion.

Then again, time to build catapults whilst the lumbering ones gain experience .

Shaka razes yet another American town, built on the ruins of New York.
We capture 4 workers.
After considerable time for healing, and replacing the suicide chariots, Boston will be kept. (Love them meandering tiny streets)

We build our first temple:
'That Tao that can be named is not the eternal Tao.'

Yet another axeman turns up on Celtic borders.

We suspect the Americans unleashed a catapult from Boston.
Curiously, all that appeared damaged were workers

A couple of suicide units later, America is no more.
Courthouses can be built soon, and peaceful expansion will be enjoined.

Brennus, otoh, is hopelessly dithering.

Obligatory suicide cat, and the third Japanese city falls to the Celts.
Three more to go.

Follow up of supply units is painfully slow.
Horse archers are woefully overduie,
and we have to research first.....
