Hey guys, this game is really slowing down lately. Let's try to keep it going like we had it at one point: 1 turn per day.

Just get your self one night/weekend and play normal multiplayer. Even if you would have to wait 2 months till you find a suitable date for every one you would get more than 60 turns that night.

From starting a game in 4h you could do even 200 turns. PMB are good for duels.

What turn is it now?

Turn 5, if I remember correctly.

Unfortunately, I'm not too compatible with normal multiplayer, due to my timezone and my schedule.

sorry, I forgot to warn you that I was going away for 3 days, so I kept the save for 3 days. And believe me, for a 6 players game we're going quite speedy. If you want a fast PBEM you shouldn't start with so many players. Speaking of this, we're currently only 5 and we should look for a replacement for Daladdin or feed it to the AI.

If I knew about your 3 days away, I wouldn't have said anything. We all have real life commitments, but it was said before signing up that we should try to get 1 turn a day. Since we were managing that for the first 5 turns, I don't see why we can't continue to do so (excepting those real-life commitments, of course).

He was far from home, and hadn't seen any signs of intelligent life in quite some time, but Oropher knew he had much farther to go. It was important that he and his brother seek out any other elves, or other allies, in this post-"Age of Ice" world.

But, for now, he needed a break. Sitting on a log he broke out some of his dried rations. Half-way through his first bite, a very faint noise came to his ears. His sharp hearing told him it was the footstep of a large animal, but it was a step taken with such caution and stealth that he instantly knew he was in trouble. Oropher whirled up to his feet, his bone knife instantly coming to his hand. As expected, his movement also spurred the predator into motion, and he had only a brief second to admire the great size of the panther before it was on him.

That's great!
As for restarting, I'm more for continuing the game as is. However, restarting with the new version is fine, too. Maybe I'm generally indifferent?

Sorry I was out yesterday eve, I probably slowed down the game another time... :/ Also, I will be away the whole working week next week again, but I hope to be able to download the save and play... no promise though.
As for 0.22, I'd stay with this, but we can start a new one... 2 turns instead of one takes a few minutes.

Very good point. I'd be up for that.

As for any extended absences, do we want to have someone else do the turns? I'm of mixed feelings on that, but it would keep the game going.
