Does the PCs mods work for the Mac Version ? Or is it possible to make them work ?
Also, I upgraded Civ3 from 1.21g to 1.29 and the civ3edit doesn't work anymore, can someone help me ?

Only the PC version of Civ3 (vanilla, the original, etc.), which is the 1.29f version (1.29b2 for the mac version). I've only dabbled around with a few: DyP, TAM, and the GOT mod w/ blubox's scenario. Any mods for PTW and C3C will not work on the mac Civ3 version, because they are expansions and were never ported to the mac.

Sorry I don't understand your abbrevations...
I've got 1.29b2, does the mods of 1.29f (pc) will work ?

The simple answer to your question is "YES" :)

DyP = Double your Pleasure, a big mod that will install and work with Mac version 1.29b2. See threads in this forum.
TAM = The Ancient Mediterranean, will work with Mac version 1.29b2.
GOT (should be GOTM) = Game of the Month, see my signature, will work with Mac version 1.29b2

PTW = Play the World expansion pack - PC only
C3C = Civ3 Conquests expansion - PC only

See my Drag and Drop installer for easy installation of PC version 1.29f mods onto Mac version 1.29b2

thank you... but it seems there's only executable (.exe), can we have files directly without the pc installer ?

Where I can find mods available for pc and compatible for mac which are not in exe format ?

There are details on how to install Double your Pleasure in another thread around here. The file set can be extracted from the .exe using Stuffit Expander and then installed using my drag and drop installer. Try looking down the thread list, or using Google to search this forum.

I don't recall how I installed The Ancient Mediterranean mod, but there must be a file set around somewhere that isn't embedded in a .exe. There are probably some references to that in a nearby thread.

The GOTM mod is a complete Mac-native installer.

I also created a mac-compatible file set for Rhye's terrain mod that you should be able to Google for if you are interested, though it may be out of date now.
