It looked back to normal to me... I guess I just don't spend enough time looking at post counts...

Wrong. TF is the only one with veto powers here, and he wants the postcount visible (obviously).

There are a few mods who would be quite happy if it was hidden, myself included.

For some reason I've logged on today and I have just noticed that my post count is at 648. Now I am certain that only a couple of days ago when I was on these forums that my post count was nearing to 1000 (my personal goal). I am just wondering where the posts have gone.

The only thing I can think of is that the old Civ Parliament sub-forum was scrapped, but even then posts made there didn't count to my overall post-count. The only other conclusion I have come to is that maybe threads I posted on in the past have been archived or deleted to save space.

Anybody able to tell me what has happened?

I guess the reason we like postcounts so much is that it feels like we're growing up in this forum...that one day, we hope, we will feel like we have made some progress.

Post Count is an evolutionary thing.
It is a good barometer of a poster's career - And spamm capabilities.

I see nothing wrong with things the way they are.

whats interesting is that even with your restored postcount, my post per day number is higher then yours; and even with out my unrestored post count (it was around 9,100 when it was reduced on accident by forum thinggy) I still am quite near your leval; with this evidence, i say that if anyone will be over takign nayone, it would be me over you
