peace blocked? WTH! maybe bug?

This may be a better post on the bugs thread, but since I'm not sure about how this happened, let me post here first and let the moderators decide where it belongs to:

Current game: BNW, semi-MP, king, continents, large. Not playing as a team with the other human player. He declared war on Alexander and, all of a sudden, all the CS that were allied to Alex got angry with ME and with the "peace blocked" sign, saying I was at war with their ally, which I wasn't. Only when the other HP made peace with Alexander their status towards me returned to neutral. Should this be happening?

yes. a CIV ally will always be at war with you unless the enemy CIV sues peace with you. When the CS switch an ally you can sue for peace at the CS.

I'm pretty sure Sabrina was saying that they weren't at war with Alexander, the other human player was at war with Alexander.

I've had this happen, but I'm not sure how to replicate it.

The situation is, you're no longer at war with any other civ (but have in the past), you have never wardeced any CS to make them pact against you, and there is a CS that is allied with a previous enemy that you can't make peace with. When you click on it, it says "peace-blocked".

Considering how many games I've played, and I've run across this maybe 2-3 times; I imagine whatever it is, it's a pretty rare case.
