Peloponnesian War Scenario Development Thread

I think it would be even better to make most techs generic, and give Sparta a few flavor techs on the side, which will give them the stuff that they need most importantly (Like a Persian alliance tech, and a Spartan Navy tech).

Most techs will be in the middle, since many of the wonders, etc, are available to be built by more than one civ.

I think the Athenian Navy would have the best stats, followed by the Sicilian Navy (of the Greek civs, of course). Also, Sparta should be able to get a poor quality navy from an earlier tech than the Spartan Navy.

@Xen - No units, sorry
@Amenhotep - Sure, I already rendered the Hoplite, so it will be a leaderhead ;) Took 3 hours to render

I can also make a guy with a bushy beard and eyebrows? And long barbaric hair? :hmm:

A beard kinda like Homer!:D

Example;)

darn it, another potential source for that unit smacked down :undecide:

Sorry, LC...Maybe that can become a wonder splash for Persian Alliance, but all Spartan Techs will be a nice Lambda symbol.:undeicde:

I'd say that it would be best to show the persian alliance tech by just having that already made tech with the bag of coins on it- that way we get to keep the feel (I'm not a fan at all of having art in the game that dosent 'go with the flow" of the rest of the art)

I like LC's wonder picture. It would be better with a superimposed shot of a Spartan and Persian shaking hands though.

wait while i google search for images of "Spartan shaking hands with Persian" ;)

I doubt your going to find many ;)

The Spartan is the easy part... but who should the Spartan be shaking hands with? The Persian King? An Immortal? I can do the Immortal... it's the king that'd be tricky.

@Amenhotep7, here is the bearded Greekman.

Is he good enough? I'll add clothing ;)
