Peloponnesian War Scenario -- Phase Two

No?:sad: O well...:) Sigh...It's becoming such a bother waiting for Kryten that Xen and I have taken up our own very simple scenario while we wait for him. Don't worry, PW is still on.:)
 
Question: For city graphics, what cultures would we use? And would we need custom gfx, like what Ekmek did a while back, or just use Civ default ones?:)
 
He made some city gfx waaaaaay back in the first thread...Somewhere between 15-25 or something.:)

What else do we need? I mean, I think everything is done, but we need a rundown on what is and isn't done.

Map, yes.
Units, no.

BTW, I guess I could give you my very small, almost incomplete final era of the tech tree. I haven't worked on the tech tree in a long time, and I think suggestions are needed, especially of Athenian and Spartan techs.

Que 'Que?'? Editting the script.txt so it says "Undersize irradiated monkeys are dancing in the streets of [cityname]!" instead of "Civil Disorder in [cityname]" and the like.

In that case, I don't think it's necessary, save for the scenario introduction.:)

Okay, I obviously missed a lot of thread, but I decided to come look in here again. Why would you want the civil disorder to say that?
 
That was just an example. I was wondering what the custom scripting was, and he provided that as an example.:)
 
a suggestion- it is my opinion, as being the maker of several defunt scenarios that never came to full frutaton, that in order to get this scenario truellt to the next leval, what amounts to, in my opinion, the hardest part of modmakeing, the thing that has twarted me every time in my solo-efforts to make it, the custum tech-tree I suggest dropping all other thing right now, and just working full steam on it, and then once you are done, literally, everything else is simplly clean-up
 
So we just brainstorm the tech tree? Okay. Louis, we'll be needing to see that final tree.:)

Looks pretty good.:) Though I must ask, What's religous conservatism for?:hmm:
 
In Xen's original tech tree, it was for the Theban Sacred Band.

I have no idea what else it could be for, but it gives the tech tree a little more depth by having a seperate line of techs (or tech in this case).
 
Well, since there are no ideas for the tree, I suppose I'll start making one in the game...:undecide:
