People are livid warning but happiness is at +41

I've had unhappy/livid warnings with Happiness in the positive 60s and up! Since I can't save and return to mod-heavy games on this old PC, I can only suspect that something players can't see is ticking the population off. *sigh* In my opinion, the whole warning system needs correcting if so many people have the same problem.

Hi, I'm playing a wide America on a modded Earth map for TSL, I ran Freedom and I have about 12 cities. I have happiness at 56 or so, I have a lot of luxury resources being farmed, and I have lots of happiness boosting buildings and wonders.

My advisor keeps telling me that my people are both unhappy and livid. Does anyone know what's going on? I'm not seeing any problem with production, and this warning happens every 20-30 turns or so.

I am using G&K, as well.

I keep getting messages telling me that my people are "livid".
Yet the happy indicators are at +45

No understand why this is - Civ 5 Gods & Kings.
WHat am I not understanding - this smells like a bug though.....

Checked every city, and the only thing I can think of is that one city is unhappy - but how to tell??

I think that's just the first in a stack of messages. You were probably unhappy before but never dismissed that particular message....

I had it as well. First it was massage about unhappiness and now it's about Livid.
What do you mean by dismissing the massage? Should I just push "thank you" button or this and "don't remind me again"? Which one will get rid of this crappy advisor?

This bug was supposedly fixed in a patch from November of last year. According to the change log

- Advisors: Messages concerning your people being unhappy/livid now display correctly (a bug was causing this to fire at the wrong time).

Which version of the game are you running (Vanilla, G&K or BNW)? What version number displays on the Main Menu?

If possible, please post a save game that illustrates this problem. Thanks.

The bug was fixed with version 1.0.2.13 (a later version than yours). Patches are usually installed automatically by Steam. Do you know why you're not getting updates?

I'm not on Steam. Not everybody are. I'm playing through OnLive - cloud gaming service.
I'll just keep bugging them for installing that patch then.
Can they download this patch from somewhere?

You definitely should bug them about updating to the most recent patch (it's version 1.0.3.80). I don't know where it can be downloaded. Good luck!
