About an hour ago I was playing Civ3 and the Civ3.exe crash came. Then I thought and wondered if there would be a substantial patch ever. It has been a few months since the game was released and probably most of the people that were going to buy the game already did.
Why would Firaxis want to make another patch? Why do they care if we like the game much now or not? If they make an expansion or even Civ4 it would still sell better than most other games simply because of its name.
One patch was completed and that satisfied people for a while and most poeple were happy for a while and told their friends about it and they bought it.
That was all before the new bugs were found.
The game came with some type of editor, right? By the time everyone saw that it really sucked the $50 already changed hands. This game recieved rave reviews everywhere but the reviewers did'nt look much at the editor.
Before I go I want to say that I enjoyed this game a lot and am not dissapoitented that I bought it but I know in five years I will not be playing it like I was with Civ2.
