Pictures don't fit screen

Hello everybody.

I've been playing the Civ 5 demo and plan on getting the full game. However, there is one little thing that is bothering me....

The pictures for the Social Policies don't fit the box, this also happens during loading with the leader picture. When I buy the full game, will this still occur?

Are you maybe playing with some small Netbook?
Because minimum needed resolution is 1024*768, and Netbooks often have a smaller one.

Well I'm currently playing on a laptop, the resolution is 1280x800.

What do you see for the resolution if you go into the game's Video Options?

1280x800 is the resolution i'm playing at,

some resolution problem on ur lcd, i havn't got this kind of problem. change the resolution and then try. may this will help
