Can anyone here stand in for me in the NYURDRMS Pitboss game (Warlords)? Obviously only if you are not alreay in that game.

Gstorrow was to stand in but just discovered that he does not have warlords. (I forgot to ask).

I have got warlords now but tried using a vanilla load.

I will be away from 15th Feb and will returm the evening (UK) of Monday 26th and so this game will have to hibernate for this period. Sorry.

Please put 26th in your diary to remind yourself of the game restart.

The next move will be the last until 26th.

You know what is a good idea - change your name next time you login, to mention the upcoming downtime. I've seen other PTBS hosts do it before and its a great way to communicate that - as well as the opening PTBS message.

The game looks like it came up...and then went down again...

Yes it came up but when i awoke ay 0730 GMT Civ had crashed, and did not like the HitAnyKey Recovery save 0041 GMT so had to revert to Firefox recovery save at 2252. Hope all is well now

Actually I can understand it not liking my recovery save....since the game had hung up while doing the initial connection stage (Connecting to Host) and I had to click the Back's a few times to get out of it. So I never actually was able to connect to the game. It must have crashed while I was connecting.

Server is still not connecting for me. I won't get to play until the 4th if I can't today (which is no biggie for me, one turn difference). But I wanted to share I"m timing out.

I could suggest Jamie, but he subbed for me allready and maybe that isnt fair... also he is going to be away as well for part of that period, where I am subbing in for him.

Cool I was in Aruba not too long ago... I hope you have as good a time as we did, tho I doubt it as we were enjoying the fun of CARNAVAL !

But sun, sea, beach and > 25C can be enough fun for a holiday as well....
