Pit Boss Avalon game thread

Well - as long as Conquistador didn't logged in last turn ... I could say that now I just made somekind of a "double move" which - let's say - compensate his prevoius double-move.

I disagree (kindoff) if someone doesnt log on, this doesnt make your move a double move.

Offcourse if his not moving made it possible for you to correct the double move (kindoff) then the issue is fixed... :)

Great we can get on with the game then?

I've noticed too that Darius has seemed to alternate between switching to AI and logging in as himself. But it won't matter soon anyway. His last few cities will be taken most likely within the next handful of turns whether he is AI or not. ;)

Sorry...I have not been reading this thread. I`ve had some connection issues lately with this pitboss game. A few times I couldnt connect and missed my turn, (firewall lost settings). Then the uploader got disconected and I checked to see if the game was still up. It was and my adversary had not yet moved. Now get this.......being an honest player and good sportsman, I exited the game without taking a single move,(or ending my turn). Has this been miss construed as a "the" double move....or was it somewhere else?. I could not connect in time to take several of my turns after the war started. Because of this I lost several units on the way to defend a city, which I might of saved. Anyways.......I`m an honest player and watch to make sure I dont double move in war situations. And any double move that may have been made was certainly unintended.

Yours truly :) , Conquistador45

BTW I have been in 2 other pitbioss games in which I was embrolied in long drawn out wars. One I was eliminated in , and the other I`m about to be........(both I subed in late, and really had no chance, but gave it a good go). This is the first time I`ve been accused of a double move.....in all the confusion of missed turns and of not being able to connect, it may of happened, but if it did it was not intended..... Thx

I dont think anyone is accusing you point blank of doing it on purpose... Just appearently a fact that it happened. Also I think Mitiu feels like it has been repaired by you not (beeing able to) take a turn (or 2) by which he was able to "take revenge".

But this is me talking... so lets see if Mitiu can confirm...

That's right. Because Conquistador didn't make one of his moves I was able to catch behind the walls of Alexandria some WarChariots, unprotected in an effective manner by axemans or spearmans, and just kill'em all !! ::ar15:

And as of this year, 1200 AD, the Mali have been destroyed...

...Good try, Darius. You had entered into a rather dire situation which didn't leave you much to work with.

Elucidus is taking Fosse's turns for a couple days while Fosse is on a trip. He got subs for most of his games. I know, because I'm a sub for him in another game.

And that's also what I stated in the Vacation/Abscence thread stickied at these forums. ;)

namliam HAS posted his away message in that thread, but I thought I'd pop in and say hi, since I'll be continuing for him in the interim. And I'm hooked up with Civstats, etc, and up to speed on where things should be going for our Civ. ;)

AAARGH!

The computer lagged a bit when it first came up, and I typed a message and was going to reject conquistador's peace offer, but it accepted instead!!!

Can you roll back to before my (namliam's) turn? I don't want to screw things up for him. Sorry for the inconvenience. :(

Well it's definately too late to do the rollback to the beginning of your (namliam's) turn. Any rollback would have to go to before DanDridge finished his turn, due to your having logged in since then which makes a new recovery save of your more recent login.
