I'm just trying to enjoy the rest of the game. I lost this game many a turn ago through poor decision making. Although I continue on with that legacy of poor decisions hopefully I'm learning how to put a whooping on you guys next time.

After seeing Mauer's act I declared war on him as well, before I even saw his DP.

I recon I could have taken you if not for his interference. Oh well, who wants to place bets on my death? At least it will be dramatic.

I bought those troops from Mauer..fair and square. No gifts. You lose 2 more cities..without a shot being fired.

The third city required a few shots But it fell quickly.

I will grant you peace for 4 cities closest to my borders and a permanent "RM" status. You can be Robi and I's RM. Robi may have other thigns for you to agree to.

Robi..he pulled back that stack before i could hit it..so its yours. I weaken it with arty. As we had discussed in the PM today...project 007A, 007B and 007C are in place and awaiting enough gold for the triple hit. Say 1 turn or so...

Hit him guys kill off a few cities and expand.

His troops are scattered and once you get past the first stack the major cities have no defenses. Or so my planes tell me.

mauer I apologize that our arms deal got you in trouble. I will gift you a bit of gold to compensate it will be in gpt so you must be at war and actually fighting Mel to get it. I trust your honesty due to the earlier circumstances. I will also name the city your purchased troops take after your lovely empire. You can suggest a name.

Mel ive offered you an ingame treaty, i have troops waiting outside each city i have demanded its upto you whether or not to accept. however as you forced me into this war i didnt want to send my whole army.

Sorry, I declared war before seeing the diplomacy screen. It was an honest mistake.

BTW, Mauer pretty much lied to me in an earlier PM, saying he wasn't going to get involved in this. Whilst we had no deal, that really felt like back stabbing.

You also really need to figure out this DP business. The way I see it, having a DP with someone and then expecting people to offer to them the same deals and warnings etc that they have with you is a game exploit. Really, if you have a DP with someone, you have to take the risk that they might get attacked, and you might end up at war.

When I had a DP with Dave for instance, I couldn't really expect you to give him the same warnings as you would have to give me. I made the DP, and hence I would have taken the risk if anyone had of attacked him.

This is something that needs to be clarified I think.

Robi couldn't handle my [Tubby's] might and had to have robboo do his dirty work.

That's only because I was absorbing all the attacks by Robi. If I hadn't taken your side in the war, you would have been wiped out before Robboo would have even known you were attacked.

MEl...at the time Mauer agreed to sell troops there wasnt a war. He made a commodity judgement and sold his units.
