Plague of smileys in sigs ...

One should be sufficient; I would prefer to read creative posts than see distracting sigs. Interesting messages and links in sigs are superior to lame smilies. Lets have high standards and not sink to the levels of stupidity seen elsewhere.

If not, restrict them to 2 non-animated, or 1 animated. Some Sigs, like LLXerxes, are a bit much.

I do want nop Smilies everywhere, but that is unrealistic, so I shall settle for as few as possible. I think 1 animated, or 2 non is fair, but not 1 animanted AND two non, that would be bad!!! I still want Smilies banned everywhere.

Well, I think restricting to a certain number is sort of silly and a bit of a distraction for the mods - I don't think its possible to allow a certain number of them. But saying "limit smilies to a reasonable amount" and such, and making large ones count for multiple lines of a sig would be productive.

No, leave them. There's already restrictions on Sigs that the mods don't activly enforce enough(it seems like everyday I log on a see a new 10+ line sig), why create another one.

Yea, I find them annoying as well, but I just skip right past anyone's post that has an especially annoying sig & that solves everything.

If we're going to limit the smilies in sigs, can we lock down on the people who think it's cool to have a rainbow sig? Those are more annoying then smileys by far!

Set a limmit, its annoying when youre reading a post and you get distracted by missiles flying around, people shooting with machineguns and that HUGE tank v.s spearmen smiley!

Yeah, I dislike that too. I think you should not be able to put animated ones in your sig (except maybe for the small ones like for example).

Sorry, Gogf. My objective was to put as many smileys as I could cram in there. I was gonna change it, but I was too lazy.
Then I got a PM from Thunderfall, so I jimmedeatley chaned it.

I'm for it the rating system too. As I see it, my sig would currently score three, but I could easily remove the . But Lyonesse really was patient with me ....

You hat to single anyone out, but LLxerxes is one of the most annoying ones, and I hadn't even seen it since he added the tank one. Which brings us to the question of why TF even included that tank smily at all .....
