Playing Persia in R&F but my immortals can not take cities

Hi,
Despite what I have read I can not make that my Immos take cities. I have assigned a keyboard key to "Attack" command but they always make a ranged attack, adjacent to the city or two hexes away.
Any hint?

In order for an immortal to do a "melee" attack, you have to use the move command.

It still make a ranged attack. I press "M" key first and then the city I want to capture, but it still make a ranged attack...

I tested this quite a bit in the Persia Civ if the week thread. There are 2 ways of doing it I recall. Physically move as mentioned, but this doesn't work for me if I'm 2 tiles away, and I can't remember if it works for taking a city. A better way is to use the attack hot key (see your key bindings to see which key, I think it is A) then click the city tile.
