Please Help. Can't Launch Conquest

I can't launch Civ3 Conquest. I can play the regular civ3 but after I install Conquest (and the correct patch) it will not load. When I double click the icon or try and load the game, my computer flashes black once or twice and goes black to windows.

What can I do?.....I updated my (intel graphics driver 82845G) to version 6.14.10 and i have directx 9.0c

Hmm.. I have the same issue - and my game used to start up just fine. Strange, since PTW, when started from the same CD, starts up just fine.
