Please help me! ( multiplayergame, retirement )

I hope that you guys can help me. I know that this probaly is a newbie question but how the h*** can I make my multiplayergame to last until I dont to play anymore?
My friend and I played for like 20 hours when the message suddently appeared:

"After 6000 ends Sir. Martin´s dinasty"

or something like that... How can I turn it of, if I can!?

Please help me fast!!!

I've never experienced this, the longest i've played with my friend was 18 hours straight and it was still only like the year 1800

No I think it was year 2020 (AD).... By the way it was CIV2 multiplayer gold edition we where playing!

I think he's referring to the amount of years that goes by. 4000bc-2000ad 2020AD is the point to where the game will stop recording your score. You can play on though. I think someone needs to fix the bug that has it stopping your score at 2020AD.

Yes, that is a little lame or what? Anyway I know that I´m in singleplayer, when this message comes, still can play by pressing "yes, keep playing", but when I played with my friend in a multiplayer-game we did´n got that option!
