OK here's the situation...my parents went away on a weeks vacation and they left the keys to the brand new Porsch...would they mind umm well of course not.
As you can see I have lost my mind trying to get civ iv to work. Not only am I quoting bad songs but Will Smith songs at that, so please help me.
I have a DELL INSPIRON 6000 with an ati x300 video card. The computer is only 6 months old. I have downloaded everything I can find to fix my problem but nothing seems to work.
The game loads fine, as does the patch 1.61 and the catalyst and 6-6-mobile and hydravision.
When I hit play or put in disk 1 the "loading screen" comes up, stays on for about 10 min. then tells me an error has occured.
I meet all the requirements to play but I am about to give up as I have called 2k games about 10 times and no one helps
