Please help! (MGE Upgrade Issue) I Desperately want to play Multiplayer....

First I tried the Exe File, but got a message (twice) saying that the data was corrupted.

Tried the winace zipped patch, and got some sort of unspecified "getimage" problem, which seemed to prevent the game loading.

Finally, tried the MGE (US) v1.3 patch, and got a message saying I'm missing "XDAEMON.DLL".

WHAT SHALL I DO?? I'm SO desperate to play multiplayer civ2, (have the classic version) but it won't work!

Anyone who can help, please do!!!!

K, could've fixed the first problem but the second... I would suggest downloading all critical and recommended Windows Updates for whatever OS you have from Micrsoft. Then download and install the latest Indeo video drivers and codecs from www.ligos.com . If it still doesn't work try reinstalling my patches.
