Just look at this... Surely graphics as these are unacceptable! I hope they will improve this and let the road go behind the mountain and not in front of, before the game comes out.

This msg is pretty late, but if you look the at new screenshots now, they are greatly improved to the point of perfection. Even the rivers blend perfectly with the terrain and the irrigation tiles look 'natural', far improved from Civ2.

Wow you guys- you'd think for a bunch of fanatics you'd bother to look more carefully at the screenshots that are current rather and keep up- that one is old style the new roads look like this:

Now everyone CALM DOWN and stop misusing EARLY screenshots or FirAXIS won't even give us THOSE anymore next game they develop... they're already tightlipped as it is!
