Poland MUST into space!

Of course, everyone knows Vienna is the only place the Ottomans can be stopped. And the Balkans don't really count as Europe do they So we can just pretend like Europe wasn't already open to the Ottomans.

Poland is great and all, but if we're gunna go Eastern Europe crazy, I really honestly would rather have space Dracula. Wallachia can into space too, fangs you very much.

This is of course, science fantasy rather than even science fiction, since the population of Eastern Europe in particular is set to almost half in the next 100 years alone. And if there's anything we've learnt from Civ V, it's that =. So Poland can't really even into hot air balloon.

I have no idea what is going on, until I clicked "Quote" I could not see the last paragraph about hot air balloon, which is hilarious . I went back to the thread and quoted a few times and still could not see it. I really do not know what is going on.

Wallachia? Seriously? What a coincidence, I actually thought about them, but then I came to conclusion that if Wallachia Can Into Space then so do the Babylonians or Aztecs. I suppose it would be interesting to see Aztecs colonising... the space. Colony of New Tenochtitlan? That makes me wonder, how would they sacrifice robotic humans? Would they cut out their engines?

As great as Poland might have been few hundred years ago, Beyond Earth is more concerned with here and now, and here and now Poland is utterly omissable at every level. So no Poland in space plz.

(I actually don't want to see any nations named in BE; just ideologies like in SMAC)

Beyond Earth is more concerned with here and now? It is a bloody (hopefully) sci-fi, 250 years in the future! So it does not matter that Poland is like now. I already created an acceptable background for the game, it is in one of the posts in this thread.

Sure they can be divided by ideologies, however Firaxis does not want to make SMAC2. That means the people would have to be divided already on Earth, such extreme differences would cause migration... And in the end we would end up with nations.

I am going to pray to Sid Meier, in hope that they will not simply go for the stereotypical, popular ciVs .

Yes, Poland in space isn't a 'MUST'. Poland in space doesn't have to be a yes either.
