Hey,

i was wondering how old the average civ gamer out there is...

The first time i played civ I must have been 12 or 13, and now i'm 23, and still hooked on this game...

How bout the rest of you?

I was 13 or 14 years when I started, and I am now 26

I started civing somewhere between the ages of 10-13 (my memory is horrible when it comes to age.)

I'm now 19 studying to become a History teacher... I think I took my addiction a bit too far.. :king:

Another "old" one-I'm 54-been playing sence the 90"s some time-Civ 1-of course-

I'm 18 now, and I'll be damned if I remember how old I was when I started.

I started Civ at a very young age, I think 10? Dunno, maybe younger.

Anyway, i'm 16 right now.

i am 23 doing BA in International Relatoions at U of C, yea started when i was in grade 6, i think i was was 12....

took this tooo far too....
i could actually releate the games to my classes....it actually is funny..

I am currently 17, 18 in about 1.5 months, and started when I was 15(Civ III)

I started with CIV 1 11 years ago while in my early 20's. A long, strange trip and probably more hours spent on the CIV sseries than any other game. (Even both of the CTPs - apostate that I am!)

There's nothing wrong with being "old" guys... if anything, it's an encouragement. Since when I'm older and have a family I'll know I'm not the only one still playing games :king:

33, family, back in school working on a PhD. Loved Civ II, Liked Civ III, can't wait for IV.

I think I was around ten when I got Civ2 for Christmas. Coming up on 19 now. I am not shocked by any of the ages here; my dad plays, and my uncle started playing civ3 when he came over to our house two years ago and had to ban himself from playing so that he could focus on work.
