The average gamer of today is approximately 24 years old. Yes, post-college. Something tells me that Sid Meier's games are designed for the more mature crowd. Or that the older folks in general like strategy games more than fps/action games.

17! Started on civ2 5+ years ago and I've been into Civ ever since. I love that there are considerably more mature and older players for Civ! Every other game forum is polluted with Profanity and mindless immature humor. I much prefer this community to any other online community.

I started civing somewhere between the ages of 10-13 (my memory is horrible when it comes to age.)

I'm now 19 studying to become a History teacher... I think I took my addiction a bit too far..

30+ ... been a devoted Civ junkie ever since Civ II...

17. Been playing since... damn. I can't even remember, I was so young. I know I started with Civ 2 though, probably around the time that it came out for Mac. Around 8 years, then.

I seem to stick to game series like that though. I've been playing Myth for almost as long as I've been playing Civ.

Damn again. Now I realize that I must make a Myth mod for Civ. Ugh.
