Poll: What is your favorite land type

Just interested in what most people think is the best land type to play on.

My personal favorite is the Pangea because it means I know that every one will be on the same land mass I am on unless something really weird happens.

There is too much water in archipelago and too much land in pangaea so I say continents.

I hate archipelago since so many players use this on on Sid level and say "hey I won on Sid level, I'm the best!".

Truth to be told, arhcipelago decreases the AI trade rate big time, and often the human player is better at scouting the water.

I like continents because ruling a whole continent is cool and continent vs continent world wars are awsome. Pangaea is way too easy (with domination and conquests victories, especially on easiers dif levels) and archiplago is too hard (with all the island hopping)

Pangea (voted) in unmodded games, because of the lacking AI abilities in naval invasions.
Archipelago if it is a game with modded (=much bigger) transport ships...

I like Continents best. Take your continent by the Middle Ages and expand to someone else continent in the Indutrial Ages.

Used to be continents. now pangaea especially now that the map generator knows how to make a proper pangaea! Size standard in single player, and small in multiplayer

Try to conquer or dominate the world on an archipelago map. Especially the naval invasion of the strongest civ in the world...

Archipelago, but I play a lot more games on Continents. Pangaea is too much warfare for my tastes.

Continents...but I prefer to start out on an island, because I have so much fun playing as a maritime empire....

Archapeligo. I enjoy exploring by sea, so long as the other islands are fairly close. The expansion race is fun, trying to get the islands of your choice before the others do. I really hate other civs being on "my" land; meaning the land as far as it continues, on arch I can get a bunch of selected islands instead of needing the whole landmass.
And I'm a big fan of amphibious invasions and having a good navy, archapeligo really completes a 'combined arms' approach.
