Pollution minus not working

Hello folks,

I've designed a series of buildings to reduce pollution, using minus figures. It doesn't work. I am sure I had it working when I also used the flags to remove population and building pollution as well. I changed it to use just minus figure instead, and now it has no effect at all.

Edited to add: Ah ha, some experimentation reveals it does work, but the minus figure do not effect the population pollution - which is far the bigger, I had used large figures which wiped out the building pollution easily, but left the population alone - hence having no apparent effect.

I would have deleted this post, if I could see a 'delete' button.

So,

Thanks anyway

I have been using minus pollution with buildings for a while, using existing buildings, but you are correct, it has no effect on Population Pollution. The way that I get around that is increase the size of Towns and Cities to around 8-9 for Towns and somewhere between 20 and 24 for cities. Those figures, along with boosted resource yields from terrain modifications, give me all of the production that I need. If I do build a metropolis, I try for a one-tile island, with water-based resource boost. With only one tile, no population pollution.
