Glad to hear many are enjoying the new show so far. 
-- first season PolyCast episodes were ~60 minutes (~60-70 minutes for the first seven even) so... 
(Second season PolyCast episodes are to be in the 40-45 minute range themselves).

I haven't played since I got BtS (wasn't a version available for it yet). I played the Warlords release.

Cool, yeah, that is a great mod, I think Wyz'y is going to put out a new version soon if he has not yet. He asked me to do a new version of the infantry so. 
The problem is I just never play at all anymore..
And yes, I really, really enjoyed listening to it, it was fun as I was modeling a ship at the time, and it was nice to listen to in the background! (Not that I do not feel it is worthy enough to just sit and listen to, but I have so little time these days..)

I was a bit disappointed with this first episode, but I realize my expectations were rather high. Instead of discussing several mods, I would like to hear more from actual modders about modding in general, like: what are the motives behind creating a mod, how do you work as a team, etc. In one of the earlier Polycasts you had Kael and Rhye on and that was far more interesting.
Wyz_sub10 Canada Deluxe mod has been out for BTS for a while. He is still active as a modder, so maybe an interview with him would be interesting as well.

yeah definitely. in our private forums, we are discussing people who will be interviewed and guest-host, as soon as possible!

I haven't got the means to go to a polycast.
You're kidding, right? If their profiles may be believed, the guests on the Polycast are from all parts of the world... Locutus is from the Netherlands, DanQ is from Canada and Methos (a new regular from CFC) is from Missouri. They don't all get together in one little dark room somewhere!
(Or maybe they do... the revolution will be polycasted... 
)

Excellent episode. I really like the segments where you discuss the mods and look forward to more segments like that. Excellent work guys! Looks like I'm going to make sure my subscription covers them both. From looking at my current one, it's asking me if I wish to subscribe to the modcast, so I need to locate the other.

The original PolyCast RSS/iTunes et. al. feed is continuing -- to be maintained to carry episodes of both PC and MC as they are released. Should you wish to subscribe to only one or the other, or both separately, there are now separate feeds for both PC and MC.
