A more pleasant experience than reading posts from the Whiners might be inflicting ourselves from head to toe with paper cuts and dousing ourselves with gasoline.
I posted the strategy because it works for me. It might work for others as well. But neither it nor any other strategy will work for people who've already made up their minds that they're failures at the game.
Decisions guide actions.
I think that Hydrogen peroxide would be more painful than gasoline.
I guess I fail to understand the difference between whiners and legitamet issues with the software. Your definintion of a whiner appears to be: Anyone who points out flaws and then remarks on them.
The goal of these posts is to point out issues that exisist with the software. Issues that detract from the overall enjoyment of gameplay. We draw attention to these issues in hopes that they (developers) will regard our opinions and implement the suggested "enhancements" that would satisfy a larger group of people (the ones who post and play and are part of this forum). I beleive that some of the features that take away from the overall satisfation of the game have been stated above.
I will be the first to admit that some of my posts are not worth reading. Just like some of yours.
I have completed an enitre game for your information and have won a number of diffrent ways. The game can be played with any tactic the player wishes (not saying you have bad tactics), however you cannot deny the fact that when a unit of lesser military ingenuity defeats your prized technologicaly advanced unit, an undeniable wave of disbelief and frustration washes over you. Or how about when you click the presicion strike button and you find the only cities you can target are your own. Hmm... I guess I will just have develop a new strategy to compensate for this lack of functionality.

I must say that I was not commenting on how good or bad you think the mentioned games are. Rather on the fact that these games that are mentioned do not have any functional issues that stop you from doing things like
.scoring goals, passing cars, killing units of lesser strength, losing to units of lesser strength or clicking buttons that do nothing.
Certainly was not commenting on wether or not the games were fun to play or not
The games mentioned work well and are put together nicely.
