I noted there is a lot of person in this community who wants Portugal as next european civ.
I should ask which leader you might choose to Portugal?

I choice Pedro IV because he can be alternative leader of Brazil as well.

Henry the Navigator
Afonso I
Manuel I
Marquis of Pombal

Definitely the Marquis de Pombal, at least im my opinion. I even created a Portugal Civ led by him on reddit...

Checked it out. Seems pretty good, although very complicated. While here, I will shamelessly plug my own idea. Also, welcome to the CivFanatics Forums! I hope you enjoy it here and that your experience will be one of excellence. :)

I'd personally choose either Joao II or Manuel I to focus on the early exploration era.

Nothing against Henry the Navigator but the only reason I wouldn't pick him is because he never really ruled Portugal.

If we wanted to have a dual leader for Portugal and Brazil, Maria I, would work not that I want necessarily want her. Though we might end up with her again if they are in the NFP.

They already did the Europe part, so I don't think Portugal is in yet. Maybe North America will get into the March Pack.

I guess the dual leader for both would fit better in Civilization 7, because it will be wird Brazil with 2 leaders and Portugal just with one shared.

But for dual leader the best options are Pedro IV of Portugal (first of Brazil) or D.João VI.
Maria I is know as Maria the Crazy here in Brazil, I don't know why but it isn't a good nickname to a Queen.

Not necessarily.
We've been the ones that has categorized Pack 3 as the "European" one based off of the others. Anton said on twitter that he liked calling it the "Rise and Fall of Rome" pack which obviously Portugal wouldn't have been a part of. With Babylon being in NFP, Portugal is really the only staple from past games still missing.

Of course I agree that March will either be Portugal or some tribe in North America. Most likely the Iroquois since the single packs have always been returning civs and I don't see the Shoshone or Sioux getting in over them.

Even if we do get Maria I doubt she will also lead Brazil, just Portugal like in Civ 5.
