Post Counter?

Before I left for Thanksgiving (November 26), I remember my post count being over 555, but today it is at 533. Anybody have a clue why this happens? It's really no big deal but I am curious.

Mods could have deleted a thread where you had many posts in. Or many threads.

Did you posted in one of the Word Association threads. Since once they hit the 500 post mark, a new Word Association thread is created and the old thread gets deleted.

Riesstiu IV - Your probhibly posted in the Word Association thread. Personlay I only post in there once or twice due because of this.

You won't post anywhere (or just once or twice) if it doesn't contribute permanently to your post count?

Oh, ok. I really don't care too much about my post count, but I thought it was sort of odd. Thanks for the explanation CivGeneral.

Me too, it was supposed to be my 700th post, but after the page loaded it only showed 661. I never knew I posted so much on that thread.

It happens when a thread gets deleted. I remember my postcount dropped about seventeen or so when the Word Association thread I had been posting in was deleted. I haven't posted in a WA thraed since.
