Anybody have or know of an earth map of standard or large size that ISNT for the warlords expansion? I only have the main game, and every map I seem to download besides the mega huge impossible to play earth maps.

I tried that map, and it never showed up in my game. Is there a way I have to install it? I just threw the file into my mod folder.

You have to put it into the folder:

My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/Saves/Worldbuilder

thats where all the maps should go ok!!

Strategyonly, is this map more helpfull? The red lines show the latitude (37°) where the map is least distorted.

To tell you the truth, Im working on a Boston Siege mod, slowly but surely, my biggest challenge is the units, I plan to have a whole bunch of new and unique ones, any ideas on where I can get help on custom units?

Best thing to do is go thru the Unit Graphics area from page one to 17 pick and choice from there and also download alot of MODs and choice what ever units you want from there also. Alot of early units in the Vanilla MOD's also.
I kinda figured you were doing something with Boston, LOL , if you need XML help just let me know ok.

1. Size you want it. (Recommend 70 or lower)

Large or standard. Whichever is closest to the recommended 70.

2. For Warlords or Vanilla.

Warlords please.

3. Resources included or not. (I will not do accurate sorry.)

No resources needed.

4. Must have a Pic of exactly what you want. (Topographical or Physical maps are best). If you give me a crappy pic, then a crappy map, sorry.

5. Do you want it X/Y axis or not.

Whichever is normal...X?

6. Forrest, alittle or alot.

A little, I could add more later if specifically needed.

7. Mountains, alot or use more hills.

Alot, for Himalayas.

8. # of players.

Clean map.

9. Rivers, alittle or alot, (i will not do accurate sorry)

No rivers.

10. Goodie Huts: Alot or alittle?

Skip them.
