Drive 4 25 is back
This is a minor bug, but i can actually research pottery without having fishing, while the tech tree arrow clearly indicates that fishing is a prerequisit.

I read some where that all tech prereqs in Civ4 were 'ORs', not 'ANDs' - meaning that if 2 techs are required for a tech, only one of them needs to be researched, not both.
Kind of a downgrade from civ3 in this regard, IMHO.

Actually there are two types of prerequisites (and Pottery is an excelent example)
If you look at the pottery entry in the tech tree there are two important things
1-The icon in the right corner, its the same icon as the one for the wheel. This means that the wheel is a MUST have prerequisite for Pottery
2-The arrows, one from Agriculture and one from Fishing. This indicates that you ONE of them is necessary
So you must have ALL of the icon prerequisites and ONE of the Arrow Prerequisites. It makes for a more complicated tech tree, but it also makes it more varied.
