Look for new PowerBar features along with the update to the new patch - including the ability to turn on technologies known...

ok sounds good

but one addition SpiderZord:
if you play a scenario with higher tech-costs as normal the Powerbar doesn't complete the tech in 1 turn
if you compare it with my MegaTrainerXL, you will see it is possible, so if you want to modify the Powerbar in this way (it's only one more RAM-address ;) ), I can send you the 1. and 2. address with a "pm" ;)
 
Yes, please, any word on an estimated release date for the updated PB? I'm sure everyone understands how busy you are in Real Life, and you work is greatly appreciated.

With that said, if you need any help please ask.

I was away with family on vacation last week... so I'm just now getting the time to do the update.

It takes time to hunt down the offset locations, so look for new version in about a week. :crazyeye:
 
can't wait for the new version of powerbar. just in case it isn't for awhile, I gave myself plenty of gold in my most recent powerbar game before I patched up to 1.27.
 
heh, I'm feeling the hurt now, I forgot how long testing a mod can be without PB to move through.

New (see readme.txt in zip):

-Updated to work with PTW 1.27f patch
-Techs known toggle (toggle techs to known/unknown by tech by tribe)
-a few other minor fixes
- the new MP check is still not ready for prime time, so the old is still there, but I fixed a bug where is was false reporting

Any other problems with the new beta, please post and I'll address it as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience! ;)
 
Thanks for your hard work. I've tried everything mentioned in this thread and even reinstalled. I'm still getting the MP mode detected error.

can you upload this file too?

I should have been more specific - the new tech toggle feature is found in the "Info" screen (click the 'info' button on the powerbar) and then the "Tech Info" tab along the top. The techs will be listed there, with the action buttons below the list.

I had placed a debugging form in powerbar a while back to trouble shoot memory issues with users - and I placed it to open when the "E=mc²" button was clicked - I think I'll update that to open the info on the tech screen. That error is an activeX control used on the debugging form that has no other purpose.

@Airboss - sorry the MP is still causing trouble... My new method is better, but working the issues for different OS's is taking time. I'll get something out as soon as I can.
 
hello...I just downloaded the patch and the powerbar for civIII but it doesnt seem to be working when i try to activate the powerbar. I click on the "earth" icon from the folder but the error message "Runtime Error 339...component or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid."

What do I do?
 
Third edit of this message now hehe.

When I posted this (about 15 minutes ago so who knows if ANYONE saw it, but anways...) I was basicly saying 'me too' and pointing out that the fix involved downloading a certian file from a certian site that no longer exists.

Welp, I have found that file on another site.

I'm to lazy to type or copy/paste the fix so look at the faq at the buttom of the Read Me file to see the steps involved in the fix.
