Why do the cities go from being on desert in era 1 to on hills in era 2? :crazyeye:
I guess they could pick up the whole city and pack a whole bunch of dirt under it... :lol:

Actually, the practice in the ancient Middle East was to keep building the same city over and over in the same location, leading to the gradual buildup of the land below, and the phenomenon of ancient mounds, called Tels (find more information about them >here<), so it is entirely consistent that a pre-islamic city would be on flat ground early on, and hundreds of years later appear to be built on a hill.
