I was driving home this evening thinking that perhaps chevrons might be a good idea. I think the Israelis used something like that on their Centurions. I wish I'd kept the book that had photos of that...

The muzzle break is the very end of the barrel, right? It would hardly be noticable when shrunk down to game scale. And what you've already produced looks about right. And is the machine gun really on the right side of the barrel? I think I put my model together wrong!

By the way, is this your first unit? Or have you posted others on this forum?

Oh, and one other thing... as far as detail goes, you should have a look at Smoking Mirror's tanks. He's really the master of detail. His latest tanks have fuel tanks, stowage boxes and what-not added onto them. Of course, he hasn't added anything that wasn't typically put on them. Those sorts of things can still be distinguished when the model is reduced to game-scale.

The Israelis were particularly famous for adding additional stowage to their armour.

I like the civ colour rings on the barrel!

I'm not too fussy about such a large part of the side plates being civ coloured though. I think a unit number or Roman numerals or something would be more realistic. Can you imagine the poor English tankers having to crawl around with bright orange side plates!

I'd just leave it with the barrel. It's subtle. It's cool...

I´ll change the civ colors on the sideplates and post it in a few minutes. I had an idea about marking the tank with three stripes....dont know if it gonna look good, but I´ll try... you never know. =)
This is not my first one, but I havent finished the other one either. Its a preview like this one.

Hey everybody,
before I go and post a new Image here I would like to hear what you think of a few things....

Several tanks has the spare tracks replaced with spare wheels on the front...wich shall I put there? (I would go with the tracks)

I also seen many tanks without the sideplates, but they will stick there right.

Shall there be a MG on the turret?

Antennas?

well, this was the ones now, but I have more questions later, Im sure....

Well, you seem to be into doing tanks/vehicles, so I'm not sure how interested you'd be in air units... but I really need either a UH-1 Huey helicopter or an F-4 Phantom II. Also, I need an American M-60 MBT and a torpedo boat. So, I'm not asking for much really

Hehe... since this is my second creation, it was a easy choice to go with the tanks, since they are so boxy.
But an airunit would be nice to try. I my game I really miss a good transport units, so one airunit I had in mind was the C-130 Hercules.
I´ll check the M-60 MBT out, and i´ll get back to you...Ok?
