problem on loading game

hi, several times lately when i go to load a game that i have already been playing the game crashes during the load. i get the windows microsoft error (send report to them or not). is there any files i can check or print to see what might be the cause? thanks

is your windows install patched to date?

yes it is. 3.17 and i use the hof mod & blue marble. it only happens occasionally. thanks for looking into this!

if it only happens occasionally that means that the install itself is fine but something is screwing with it at times. Things that come to mind are other programs that might be running in the background - e.g. an antivir program... is there anything like this?

yes there is. i dl'd planet generator at about the same time it happened. when i try to use it it doesn't work - do you think that might have something to do with it?
