Problem with my browser, have NO idea what it's about

My FireFox for some reason can't access the following pages: About.com; Yahoo.com; Aljazeera.english.net; MSN.com. That's so random I can't guess what the hec it's about! I need help! Thanks in advance to anyone who can figure this out.

Edit: And none of my IM clients work either.

FF just released a new update, maybe one of your extensions is messing something up. All but Aljazeera worked(I think, it took me to english.net) on mine just now.

There all search engines, check your security settings (now not as random as you thought...)

I didn't know browsers could do this type of random blocking ...

Did you try your girlfriends computer Trajan? If they work on hers, then its something on your end, if they dont work on heres, then its on the router/ISP's end

Type down the url so that it's clickable, post it, and then click it. It'll work then.

That sounds like a more general internet connection issue rather than a web browser issue. Try checking your firewall settings and make sure that connections from Firefox and your IM clients are allowed through. Also, it could be a problem with your ISP's DNS (domain name server), in which case, they'll probably fix it within a few hours.

His DNS is fine, it pings through to the pages. At least thats as far as I know ( we were talking about this on IRC a bit back)

Oh yeah it worked evetually but I forget what made it work...thanks for the help everyone though
