Problem with Wonder movies

Hi, sorry, another problem:
The wonder movies are ..intermittent, not fluent (I don't know the exact english word).
It's not a prestational problem; latest graphic card driver are installed (graphic card: ATI Radeon 5500, 256 Mb dedicated RAM) and other civ4 movies have no problems (i.e.: the intro movie).

Problem with the wonder movies is it has the game running in the background aswell unlike the intro movie. I would tweak the Civ4.ini file first and see where that gets you. Set the 'Bink16bit' to 1, all other Bink settings to 0 and have 'allowscreenshots' set to 1. Secondly, free up as much RAM as you possibly can. Close down any other apps plus any Anti-virus if you can. The main system RAM is key for Civ4 rather than the video RAM, the more, the better and the less problems you're likely to have (in most cases). Failing these, switch them off or try the low-res movies from the Civ4 official site.
