Right, so I run "The Curse of Monkey Island" on Windows XP. I don't believe that the computer itself has anything to do with the problem. The game itself runs perfectly, except when cutscenes are played. For some reason, it will rush through the whole movie, ruining my hilarious journey through the Caribbean.
I think I have heard from somewhere that this is because of the nature of COMI being released for 95. However, I can't understand that XP won't run it. Is it because of DirectX compatibility issues? Or is XP not as backwards-compatible?
