Problems with downloaded scenarios :(

It is the most annoying thing Ive had on my computer yet. And it seems other people have the same problem.

I download the scenario just like people say I should on this board, and when i enter the Civ Content to download it, the game freezes on "loading scenario" or whatnot, when the screen is black and All I see is on the bottom right, the money+ nationality+year miniscreen. Nothing works, even if i work for hours. Any ideas guys?

BTW - what are your computer specs? Apparently some scenarios can take an hour or more to load.
