Hey everybody,

Lately I have been searching for a modern/future Europe scenario. There were some maps out there, but I decided to create one for myself. After spending a lot of hours into my map(creating nations, editing resources and creating armies), the scenario always crashes when I end my turn. I haven't got a clue on what causes the crashes. So, I would like to ask anyone to take a look at my scenario and maybe help out? In my opinion this scenario presents a totally new and unique scenario, which imo would be a nice addition to the already big CIV V database. To stimulate you guys, I will post the backstory I created for this scenario:

As the Ukraine crisis is finally over, the separatism ideology swept across whole Europe. Many disagreements were starting amongst the members of the European Union. Many felt that they were losing their identity. While others were feeling as if they had been treated unfairly in the past. With troubles brewing from within the European Union, the once powerful alliance would not live to see the conclusion of the Ukraine Crisis. It dissolved after Russia and the Ukraine signed their peace treaty. This was their final act as a union. Despite the fact that a peace treaty was signed, the precise details weren’t worked out. In the weeks following this, Russia and Ukraine weren’t finding much common ground, as Russia still occupies Crimea and most parts of eastern Ukraine. Under the pressure of NATO, Russia handed all the parts of eastern Ukraine back to the Ukraine. In exchange for this, Russia wanted the NATO countries to lift their economic sanctions and that they removed all NATO forces from the area. The NATO forces would only agree if Russia would also hand back Crimea. Russia did not agree. Since all the following peace negotiations were failing, the communication between the two has become almost none existent. With Russia seeking to take revenge on the Ukraine, the next crisis is only seconds away.

Seeing Russia as its biggest threat for expansion since the disbandment of the EU, Iran was preparing to declare war on Russia. The only thing Iran needed to fight Russia were allies. Ukraine was the first country to align itself with Iran, as both saw Russia as their biggest threat. Later Georgia and Turkey also declared war Russia.
America hopelessly seeing the European Union disband, didn’t want any part of the ‘’European Hellhole’’ anymore. They were afraid that they again would be pulled in a massive war. So, America went back to their isolationism and turned their back on the disbanded Europe. Without America to join the side of a country, the European continent is seen as free hunting ground.
Meanwhile in Africa, the Morocco-African Union conflict on is the verge of escalating. Surprisingly, Egypt chooses the side of Morocco in the conflict. The AU, who want to fully unite the African continent, wanted to eradicate the final two thorns in his eye. This led to the declaration of war on Morocco and Egypt. Will this new power struggle have an impact on the European continent?

With a disbanded European Union, some found their peace and safety in uniting their nations. While others are seeing opportunities for expanding their empires without having to face a whole continent. Some wars may be over, others may be starting, and some may be on the verge of beginning, but there are more dangers lurking in the shadows. Troubles are brewing. Can you prepare your nation for the upcoming violence? Can you defeat those who endanger the very survival of your nation? Can you build an empire that will stand the test of time?

I hope to hear from any of you!

Thanks in Advance!
