Problems with start

Hello!

Today, when I wanted to play Civ5, I noticed a mysterious message from Steam about some 'updates', but I've never seen such a message before. I've made a screenshot about it:

I've never seen this popup, and Steam hasn't downloaded any patch/update. No, I don't have BNW, but I have G&K. This popup showed up when I clicked on the "play" button, but the same happens when I start the game from its installation folder. Nothing works. The popup never disappears, making the launcher never appear and thus making the game unplayable. It's really weird.

Hmm, it seems nobody could help me, which is no surprise at all. After searching on Google and on Steam's forums, I found that nobody knows its exact cause... super weird. There were several advices like restarting Steam, restarting the whole PC, reinstalling Steam, etc. well I can assure you that none of these works. Several people however, said that simply waiting a few hours/days solved their problem. Though I know neither its cause nor its solution, I found that waiting a few days really helps somehow. Now the game works for me, the problem disappeared as suddenly as it had shown up. So if anyone would encounter this problem, there's no solution, simply wait.
