I play the same way like you, but was i noted is, the higher the difficult level and the resources setting is, the more ctd happens.

Maybe its that 2gb memory issue or is it 64bit issue? Ive been wondering what will happen as more and more is required of the cpu with resources, buildings, units, and more. I like my Large maps and the standard felt so small. Huge was nice in vanilla, but i still had issues, but I had to stop using that when i first got this mod. Ive also wanted to play higher than Prince, but i dont have any desire to start having ctds. Marathon, Large, Prince, 10 AI, 20 City, and Very High resources, has been stable(knock on wood), for me.

Hey Dec, I hope you are safe with everything happening. I thought you had mentioned you are in Japan, so if you or anyone else, be safe and hope to hear from you soon!

I think it will be interesting to see if you mod gets people to play more modpacks than they would otherwise.
That's the indirect intention, but it will be more of a "Tracking" device of results with any MODS while allowing comparative statistics.

The Vanilla HOF can't parse & maintain categories of games *with* any single specific MOD, LeoPaRd will.

Seems like Workshop doesnt give its +15% anymore. NOt sure when it got knocked off. I tested it by adding 5 buildings to my que(not wonders) and selling it...time did not increase. then I bought it back...did not decrease.

Impressed but is there any possibility to join Bigger Wrolds so that we can play size Giganc and Gigantic. It worked for me before patch 217. Also start 10.000 BC. I am seeing the super CV4 turning up here in CV5. Good. Show what the modders really can do. Turning the play into something really fantastic play.

I played this mod a few hours today and i really enjoyed it. I didnt have any major issues or bugs at all. The AI was active in trading, developing and waging wars. Economy is easy though Hapiness is a constant stress throughout the game, more than in vanilla. I had no CTDs until 1750AD when i started wars against my neighbors. Game is almost unplayable now, with CTDs every 4 or 5 turns (huge map, high ressources)

A few remarks :

The tech tree is a little bit messed up still. I wonder why you had to split the 5 branches into different screens ? Certainly because you cant have a vertical scroll bar due to code limitation. Some branch look poor (like engineering) with only a one tech line through almost the end. And it doesnt give a proper view of all the techs required when you beeline one.

There are soooo many social policies !!! Its really hard to choose one and in the beginning of the game, my choice will always go to the one which gives me the more happiness. Monarchy with the +3 happiness from garrisoned unit is nice. The others seems weak compared to it. Or maybe its just me :p Finding some more happiness here and there in the first era techs and buildings wouldnt hurt i guess. It would also be nice to find bonus synergies between governements systems and ideologies, helping you to choose complementary policies.

In general teching seemed slow. On epic speed i entered renaissance era really late : in 500AD. There are just so many techs to research in the begining to get your economy going and cities to develop. There are also some other balance issues like when i build the celestial palace (that Wonder which gives +100 science) when my total science back then was +20... :D

ok back to playing, i'll try India and get the most out of those social policies ^^

I hope Dec is OK wherever he may be !

Like all the the other posters i still hope you stay alive and be secure.
My best hopes are for the peoples how stay in this tragic story.

Been aiming for cultural victory yesterday : India, huge continents, marathon speed, high ressources.
Everything went smoothly i have to say, no CTDs at all (i discovered my continent only, and did not wage war). I gained a fair amount of culture and with the help of good policies I was able to achieve the 5 trees by 1600AD.
Spoiler :
But then : 400.000 :c5production: for Utopia ??
god my production city pulled aout 1300 :c5production: a turn only :-/ Cliquing 308 times on the end turn button is not fun at all ! You might consider changing this to : more social policy trees to be discovered (2 per era and per branch except religion?), and/or shared construction for Utopia (like spaceship parts?), or anything else.

There is feature to auto end your turn so you dont have to click. Also, he has said he may move it up to 7 and im not sure how religion will affect it all, but that will also take some of the culture i bet, unless they use something else.

I've been having the CTD problem in almost every game, vanilla or modded, small to huge maps. I had verified the cache via steam several times and they still kept happening.

Last night I finally uninstalled, deleted all the local files in My Documents and Steam/steamapps/common and reinstalled.

Now all is working again. I have no idea WTH happened, as I didn't change anything in the game folder, and I've deleted the entire My Documents\My Games contents several times.

Bottom line, after a month of constant random crashes , its working again :). I am so happy!

PS: The crashes did start right around the latest patch release, but I don't recall if that was the cause or not.

Played around with version 9 of the mod a little and it seems very nice.

One thing I find kind a bit irritating though is that the buy tile feature feels kind of broken now. With the economy adjustment the player and the ai can pretty much buy up all land in a city instantly which imo is very exploitable, especially if you want to wall in somebody with your borders. Prices should be heavily adjusted to match the new economy better.

This is still discussed, but d: said he will work on it.
The other point is to make the ai more workable, since the ai is going for occ, i think it is working very well.

Sometime i think the ctd are so random. For several times i have the late game problem when to many units are moving. And always after ctd the steam cache lost about 20mb.
This is a known problem, after refreshing the cache the problem happend again.

Ajaab mod
Just tried out this mod n it looks pretty good.
Bt I think buying land thingy is abit out of order, its too cheap compared to d amount of money u receive per turn...or is it affecting my game only?
Anyway its still a good mod.
Cheers

The cost of buying tiles is like the op said still not perfect.
V9 is a test (beta) version.
