    Purple is not my favorite colour :D, but the consistence in the style is great.

    Well, If you are familiar with Total Realism, The ones with purple backgrounds are only used if certain traditions or doctrines are used. The promotions that have crosses and the IDF insignia I use for the medieval period crusade era for my version of the Holy War doctrine. You have have christianty or judiaism also as a state religion to get them.
    The horse promotions are for a tradition I call Cavalry Tradition. used for elite Mounted troops during the gunpowder era.
    The stripes is for what I call NCO Tradition. Used fot armored/gunpowder units in the modern era.
