The new system - as we did it or split in two - requires everybody to vote for every position. This means that if somebody is indifferent in a particular election, they will still have to choose one of the candidates. Most likely they will choose whichever is written first on the list and this will sway the votes in that candidate's favor, even though the voter didn't actually want that particular candidate more than the other one. It is a much more free and democratic system to have each position election occupy a different poll.
Well, I thought Corn's effort was a good one, but it does lack a certain simplicity.
I also agree that one should not be forced to vote for a specific candidate - perhaps those who just don't know enough about the two candidates to make the best decision.
agree 100% with Apollo. It may be a bit more work to track down all the polls and vote so many times, but such is the price of Democracy , and not that much more work than deciphering Corn's system.
